Meet 2020 Boys & Girls Club of R The Club makes it possible to look for the good in every day, regardless if some times it is a harder that is little.
A night to celebrate the Club and the youth that make it the special place that it is on Thursday, March 12, 2020, the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield will host it’s annual Youth Leadership Dinner!
The supper shall honor the Club’s Character and Leadership Program users in Gem Club (for 5th-grade users), Torch Club (for center school users) and Keystone Club (for senior high school users) and independently recognize members due to their dedication and achievements. The supper may also emphasize 17 Youth for the Year applicants, and attendees could have the chance to hear from 12 Upperclassman Candidates, while they will each invest a couple of minutes sharing their personal Club tales through the entire night. The supper will conclude with crowning the 2020 Youth of the season, the Club’s biggest award that is annual.
A committee of neighborhood leaders will interview all the prospects and make use of the expert staff to choose the Youth of the season. This year’s judges for the Upperclassman Candidates are Nicholas Donofrio, Community Leader/Former Executive Vice President of Innovation and tech at IBM; Rob Ellis, handling Partner of Ridgefield Capital resource Management; Will Haskell, State Senator, Connecticut’s 26th District; Rudy Marconi, Ridgefield First Selectman; Daniela Sikora, creative Director when it comes to Ridgefield Chorale.
